Entering God’s Gates with Gratitude

Come away with your church family for a fall weekend in beautiful Montreat! We will gather Friday night for easy fun and family vespers. Then Saturday we will have a morning of inspiration around our theme of gratitude.  Kids and youth will enjoy activities while adults spend time with Lewis and Bunny reflecting on scriptures of grace and gratitude.

After lunch all together, your afternoon will include options of relaxation and organized fun. You can choose to enjoy Montreat on your own with a nap or shopping in Black Mountain. There will also be two time blocks of planned activities for you to join if you and your family would like, including guided hikes, kickball game, tennis & pickleball, wacky field day fun, arts and crafts corner, and even a pop-up book club.

After supper together, Saturday evening will be big fun – live music and square dance caller! Wear your denim! Then Sunday morning, a casual worship service will send us off from our glory in the mountains.

Housing Info

This year we have accommodations in Assembly Inn with single rooms with private baths and two-room family suites. Some suites are 2 rooms with a shared bath, and some are 2 connecting rooms with private baths. A limited number of rooms can accommodate a crib or cot to increase the max occupancy by one person. If you wish to request or be assigned a roommate, you may each pay half the cost of a single room.
