Pedals, Pipes, and Pizza

The Spartanburg Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, along with the Lawson Academy of the Arts at Converse College, will host a brief and entertaining introduction to the pipe organ for anyone ages 8 and up on Saturday, April 17 from 10:30am-12noon. This is an opportunity for anyone to learn how the pipe organ works. There will be a live mini-organ recital, testimonials from a few chapter members, a demonstration of the world's smallest pipe organ, and the church's pipe organ. There will be a hands-on time after the event for anyone who wants to try out the 2,834 pipe organ in our Sanctuary!
