Pickleball and BBQ Competition

FPC Youth and Recreation Ministries are sponsoring our first annual Pig 'N Pickle Fundraiser, with all proceeds going to support the high school mission trip to the Dominican Republic this summer. Mark your calendar for this fun-filled day of food and friendly competition!

⏰ Time: Pickleball begins at 9:00am; BBQ Competition begins at 11:00am

Tournament Details
The tournament will be held in two phases. Group play will be from 8:00am - Noon. Each game will end at 11 points or 15 minutes (whichever comes first), with a 5-minute break between games. Every team is guaranteed 3 games of Group Play. The top teams of each group will advance to the bracket competition. An at-large 6th team will be chosen from the next-best team from all groups (total points will serve as the tiebreaker). The top 2 teams will have an automatic bye in the bracket.

🍗 BBQ Battle – Our talented cooks and vote for your favorites in four categories: pulled pork, ribs, wings, and brisket. Think you’ve got the best recipe? Sign up and show us your skills!

 

Competition details:

  • 4 judges will determine a winner for each category and an overall "FPC Pitmaster" Champ
  • Champions announced at 4 pm
  • Competitors provide their own meat, sauce(s) (if desired), materials and allergen list if possible (i.e. - "Contains gluten, dairy, nuts, etc.")
  • FPC will provide beverages, paper products, utensils, etc.
