“In you, O Lord, I put my trust." Psalm 71:1 I believe genuine faith involves trust. I believe in God and put my trust in him. I believe God specializes in things thought impossible. When my faith begins to waver, I think of the following example I once read. If you are in a deep ocean and begin to panic, struggle, tense up and thrash about, you will sink. If you relax and trust then you will float- no matter how deep the water is.

“O Lord, how great are thy works" Psalm 92.5 At an early age, the first old time favorite hymn I memorized to play on the piano was "How Great Thou Art". It is my favorite hymn and even though I no longer play the piano, tears always roll down my cheeks when I hear it sung. The lyrics of the refrain, 1st and 2nd verses give God all praise for who He is-----the Creator of the universe. The lyrics of the 3rd verse reminds that God sent his son to die on the cross to save me from my sins and verse 4 that when reach my heavenly home, I will fully understand the greatness of God.

My faith gives me access to God and discipleship entrance into his joy. I strive to be a faithful woman each and every day. As a child of God, like a good parent, HE is holding my right hand as journey through life and will pick me up when I stumble and forgive.
