Grant Cycle is Now Open Through December 4, 2023

First Presbyterian Church of Spartanburg is grateful to serve with you in building a more just and loving world in God’s name. We appreciate the important work that you do, and we pray for your ministry throughout the year.

Each year a congregational Mission Committee reviews requests for financial support for many causes. Please carefully read the following information.

  • Funding will be granted to organizations serving Spartanburg County residents that are connected to the mission of the Faith Initiative to End Child Poverty, which is “to end child poverty in Spartanburg,” and the vision “to build a community of thriving for all of our children, and thus for all.”
  • Applying for funding, or receiving prior funding, does not guarantee that the organization will receive a grant.
  • You may be contacted by a member of the Local Missions Committee for a site visit after applications are received and initially evaluated.
  • All grantees will need to submit a nine-month progress report.

If your organization/project addresses the mission of ending child poverty in Spartanburg, we invite you to apply for a grant in our 2024 cycle. Please read the request for proposals for additional instructions and grant requirements.
