June 8 at 12:30pm

A Way Home, formerly Spartanburg Interfaith Hospitality Network (SPIHN), is returning to help our neighbors in need! This rotational model hosts families experiencing homelessness in different churches while they work with a case manager to find permanent housing.
First Presbyterian Church will host four times a year. Our first rotation will be July 6-13, and we need many helping hands for this ministry! Please click the button below to review the volunteer needs and sign up to serve.
All volunteers who will have direct contact with guests are REQUIRED to attend a training and complete a background check. First Presbyterian Church will hold a training on June 8 at 12:30pm in the Large Private Dining Room (Family Life Center). Lunch will be provided. RSVP by June 3 to Rhonda Dickerson if you plan to attend the training.
All volunteers who will have direct contact with guests are also REQUIRED to complete a background check (hosts, overnight hosts, transportation, etc.). Please click this link to fill out an authorization form. Once you submit it, you will receive an email with more instructions.
