Our Mission:
To Provide women with hope and resources for a new way of life after incarceration. We achieve our mission by providing transitional housing, case management, career opportunities, and advocacy to facilitate a successful reentry into our community.

Our Vision:
We believe that all incarcerated women, in Spartanburg or South Carolina female prisons, through faith-based development will realize their value and purpose to become independent, positive assets to our community so they will NOT return to incarceration.

We do this with HOPE, HELP, and CHANGE.

Volunteers are needed for:

Mentors who will spend 30 minutes to an hour listening to one of our residents to help her feel loved. You can do this by phone, but in person is much better.
Transportation for a resident who needs help to get to an appointment. We can call you ahead of time, and if that doesn’t work for you, we will call the next person on our list.
Work at our office to answer phones and take messages. We would like for you to stay 2 hours if possible, then the next volunteer can come in to help.
Help with special days for our residents to enjoy - like Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. You can help with set up, food, etc.
Send letters to our residents once a month, and tell them you care about them and will pray for them.
Other things that are needed will be posted on this site and our website.

Items needed to help our residents:

Peanut butter and jelly
Rice, Grits, Oatmeal, Cereal
Dried beans, Canned Meat, Canned Soup
Canned: Vegetables, Fruit, Applesauce
Boxed Macaroni & Cheese
Cookies, Crackers, Protein Bars
Hygiene Products
Paper Towels, Kleenex, Toilet Tissue
New underwear, socks, nightgowns
